The nighthawk is the missile-based Caldari command ship.

Player versus Environment

While the Nighthawk lacks in DPS, and its damage bonus is to kinetic only, it does have the ability to vary its DPS with different missile types. In addition to this, the Nighthawk has a very strong tank thanks in part to Tech II resists.

Level 5 mission fit

This has a very-high resist capless tank. Its primary purpose is to soak up the damage in a level 5 mission but not break due to massive dps or energy neuts. Using 3x Kinetic Deflection Amplifier II will result in a tank of 2400dps to Guristas. If Gistum C-type Kinetic Deflection Amplitier is used, the resulting tank would be 2600dps. Due to its innate resists, this ship will be most effective vs guristas/serpentis/etc (kin/therm)
