New Eden's Industrial Alliance
Founded in October of 2010 New Eden's Industrial Alliance has kept an industrial focus whilst still engaging in PvE and occasional PvP.
HistoryNew Eden's Industrial Alliance was founded by the corporation New Eden's Industrial Revolution, which has since closed its doors. The alliance founder was a character by the name of Frank Lonehorn. The BeginningOn 23 October 2010 New Eden's Industrial Alliance was formed; for 5 months the alliance was just one corp, New Eden's Industrial Revolution. In April of 2011 Industrial Guardians of New Eden, Sec-Ton Eight, and Cross Industries joined the alliance, this is what "got the ball rolling" so to speak. Although these corps were not there when the alliance was founded, these four corps made are all considered founding members of the alliance The MiddleThe alliance went through a period of stagnation, no one was joining, and no one was leaving. This was a very busy time, in this time most of the alliance basics were established. During this time the alliance rules were developed, the alliance Teamspeak server was set up and "Ironed Out", and basic protocalls were established. After the period of stagnation the alliance grew a bit, a couple corps joined, both became inactive and ended up leaving the alliance. However a corp called Iron Fold joined the alliance, headed by a fierce marketeer named Johndoe Adams. Shortly after Johndoe Adams joined the alliance leader ran into some real life issues that threatened to endanger the alliance. The alliance leader, Frank Lonehorn, made the decision to step down from the Executor position. After about a week of in depth discussion it was decided that Industrial Guardians of New Eden would become the new executor corp, and Col Crunch the new alliance executor. More RecentlyWith the change of leadership a new alliance second-in-command had to be chosen, as Col Crunch had been the previous second-in-command(with the chosen title of COO), the chosen person was Johndoe Adams (with the chosen title of Vice-Chair). He was chosen because of his being adept at "playing the market". Soon after the change in alliance, during an op the former executor, having issues dealing with his stepping down behaved poorly, he was told that there was something that needed to be talked about the following day. He knew what he had done was wrong, that night, knowing it would most likely happen again, he pulled his corporations out of the alliance. After the former executor pulled his corps the alliance was small, consisting of 3 corps and just over 20 members. This was for about two weeks, during this time Col Crunch and Johndoe Adams refined what had been set up in the most basic of ways under Frank Lonehorn's provision. After the short period of refinement, the alliance started to grow, slowly, Cygnus Industries joined, five days later, Orb-Disc Industries, two days after that Mental Philosophy, three days later wee guys, about ten days after that Industrial Guardians of New Eden Annex. In the course of just over a month, under Col Crunch the alliance had grown to 8 corps and 73 members, far exceeding the peak under Frank Lonehorn of 49. For a while after his leaving, the alliance had good relations with the former executor's corps, and even went on PvE ops with them, until one day in the alliance public channel he broke the rules, and was muted. This prompted him to sever all ties with the alliance, close his corp (New Eden's Industrial Revolution), and set the alliance to red. The RulesNew Eden's Industrial Alliance operates on seven basic rules, these rules are meant to project a positive and professional image of the alliance, also to keep people "playing nice", they are as follows:
StructureThe alliance command structure is set up in two boards, The Executive Board and the General Board. These boards are mainly used in alliance level recruitment. A corp is brought up, the General Board will discuss, they make an initial decision, and based on that decision the Executive Board decides to let the corp into the alliance, or not. All CEOs do have say in alliance matters and alliance meetings are held regularly. The Executive BoardThe Executive board consists of the founding member(s), the executor, and the second-in-command (Vice Chair). The current members are as follows:
The General BoardThe general board consists of the remaining CEOs. The current members are as follows:
