This is a 2 part complex that is found in low security space. While the DED difficulty is not set, it is approximately between a 5/10 and a 6/10 in difficulty.

Room 1

"Previous explorers have commented that one of the gates requires a passkey. Alternatively, it can be bypassed by convincing the commander to unlock it. The overseer guards the Smuggler Gate vigorously. There must be a way to lure out some of his guards before engaging him though ..."

There are several ships from several frigates, cruisers, and 8 battle ships initially. Be warned that you must kill the battleships first otherwise you could run into problems later.

The frigates named "Corelli Scout" and cruisers name "Corelum Scout" have a random chance of sending out a distress signal, which will summon 4 more battle ships and a few frigates and cruisers.

After you kill all the spawns and reinforcements, you may proceed to the gate to the second room. But to do so you need to open the gate. When you approach the gate local will flash saying "Someone has triggered an alarm on the gate." At this time, the gate keeper will appear along with 6 escort ships. The gate keeper is a Commander Militant (Megathron) and his escorts are 6 Thoraxes. After the commander is dead you are allowed into the second room.

Room 2

When you warp in you will warp into roughly the center of the pocket and will immediately be attacked by 2 groups of Serpentis NPCs, which include 8 battleships, 8 destroyers, guardian frigates and a mix of cruisers and battlecruisers. Eliminate them first.

Please note: Do not shoot the warp gate until you are ready

Shooting the pirate warp gate will cause the commander to spawn and a total of 22 battleships, 12 cruisers, and 16 frigates on top of the 8 ships that spawn with the commander. Reports that you can avoid the full spawn by hitting the gate lightly can not be confirmed. One heavy precision is enough to trigger the full spawn. So better be not in the middle of the pockets, since there are at least 4 scrambling and webbing frigs on top of the 1.8k dps coming in. Since most of the ships are rather closerange, try to stay out of trouble, and kill the webbing and scrambling ships first, just to be on the save side.

During this fight you may have a chance at a Shadow Serpentis Squad Leader (Brutix class) spawning in addition to the Overseer. Killing the Shadow Serpentis Squad Leader can lead to an escalation.

If you shoot a Serpentis Control Tower, a few battleships and support vessels will spawn.

There are a lot of bounties to be had in this complex if you spawn everything. Being solo it may take a few hours.
