Mining tips for new miners

1. you need to start working on getting your mining and industry lvl. as high as you can, at least lvl. 4

2. It is important to buy "quality" stuff. I suggest A. a destroyer (yes it is a good starter mining ship) B. it is important to use Miner II's because if you get you mining lvl. high enough they give you a really good yield. C. expanded cargo-hold II. D. some type of defensive drones (optional)

3. The best thing to mine (caldari and amarr) is scordite it is selling very well IN RAW ORE FORM. (This info is dated. You should check the market for the latest prices in the more common raw ores.)

"Tips for mining barges"

1. It is important to lock onto 4 asteroids (you may need targeting skills) and don't mine 1 of them focus all your lasers on separate asteroids so you don't have to tend to it that much.

2. Although the Tech. II strip miners are nice you don't REALY need them strip miner I's are still pretty good.

3. In all factions, mine scordite or kenerite, their prices are at an all time high and a mining barge finally makes it practical to mine.

4. Although there are many advantages to the most advanced mining barge it is most practical to start with a retriever and train you skills to get an exhumer (work towards a Mc.)

5. It works most effectively towards your wallet and productivity to mine, then, as soon as you dock, drag the raw ore from your cargo bay to your items hanger in station then un dock repeat process. you do not need to sell until you are done mining for the day. Doing this will heavily increase your productivity.
