Milo Caman (Character)
Early CareerMilo completed his capsuleer training with the Federal Navy Academy on 28.10.109. There is little information on him before this time, but DNA samples taken during his entry tests suggest that he came from a fairly rich family living on Aurcel III. Milo stayed on with the FNA for a few months, working with agents in the area in order to improve coordination and communication between local entities. High Security WorkOver the next few months, Milo worked with a number of groups based in Sinq Laison, including Bessemer Inc. and LiveTech. There is little information availlable from the DED database about Milo's time with these corporations, but several trips out of empire space were recorded. At the end of 110YC, Milo disappears from DED's records entirely. Asteri RisingShortly after Milo dropped off the grid, reports of a Posthuman 'cult' operating in and around Metropolis emerged. Disappearances rose in the already dangerous area. A Republic Navy Recon Team were sent to investigate. What they found were the remains of several Nanotech Labs and some charred bodies. Someone had tipped the group off, and they had relocated before the Republic could confirm their presence. RenaissanceSeveral weeks after the report into the Metropolis disappearances had been closed, the group responsible publicly set up an office in the Qeti constellation, and announced itself as Asteri Rising. In the following months, the corporation established itself as the dominant power in the area. It has been confirmed that Milo was amongst the directorate of this group, and personally headed up a number of illegal research operations, as well as participating in minor raids on civilian targets. CollapseDue to significant infighting, Asteri Rising eventually collapsed, culminating in the destruction of a corporate carrier and the activation of half the corporation's Suicide circuits by a rogue director. (Initially a project proposed by Milo) Many ASRS staff were killed, although due to malfunctions, several intended targets survived, including Milo Caman and Heyna Delatis. It is around this time that Milo publicly left Asteri Rising. Ghost FestivalDisgraced and exiled, Milo made his way deep into Amarr Low Security Space, eventually settling for a brief period in the Bleak lands. Around this time, Milo got in touch with representatives from Ghost Festival, and Angel Cartel affiliated capsuleer organization. Milo eventually join Ghost Festival, and became involved with Operation Bold Harvest, during which he managed to disable and purge what remained of Asteri Rising's Implant software from his clone. Shortly after Operation Bold Harvest had finished, Milo entered a brief relationship with Celia Dekline, up until her disappearance towards the end of 111YC. Milo also retreated from the public eye, and focused solely on his projects and operations for up until the closure of Ghost Festival in 112YC. Anshar IncorporatedRecently, Milo has registered with a corporation known as Anshar Incorporated (It is in fact, believed to be what remains of a Project created in during Milo's time in Ghost Festival, but rejected as non-viable), a Pro-Syndicate corporation operating from Low-security space. Unfortunately, little information is availlable on AI, aside from their recent takeover of Arcadia News Networks and announcement regarding a small Coffee shop franchise to be known as 'Beansnakes'. More recently, Anshar Incorporated have been pushing for influence in the constellations surrounding Intaki, and are rumored to have direct links with a number of local groups. Personality and Work EthicMilo's personality can be considered semi-stable. Despite being prone to bouts of Megalomania and depression, he appears to suppress these behaviours when in public, possibly augmented by implants. When working on a personal project, Milo will single-mindedly pursue it until he reaches a satisfactory conclusion. During these periods, he seems unaffected by any depressive periods he may have been going through, and is likely to work until he is no long capable due to lack of sleep. AugmentationMilo has no qualms about modifying his own implants beyond safe parameters, and considers himself extremely competent in the field of Cybernetics. He runs several highly advanced and highly illegal augmentations, including an over-clocked Cortical Downlink. Milo has also worked on several Cybernetic Projects for friends, including a chemical stability augmentation for Vincent Pryce during his time in Ghost Festival. Political AffiliationsMilo presently holds little regard for the empires and CONCORD, considering many of the regulations imposed by them as restrictive and pointless. His views closely match those of The Syndicate, with an almost extreme emphasis on personal freedoms. Milo also holds an Intense dislike for Sansha's Nation, and can also be quoted for saying he finds the Sani Sabik and their ilk 'distasteful' Top Contributors For This Page |
