Machinima support in Walking in Stations (CSM)
Stats
SummaryMachinima, movies and clips created using video game engines, are quite common in video game communities - and MMO communities in particular. Examples of Eve Online machinima are Clear Skies and Day of Darkness. Eve online currently has one major disadvantage: characters are either ships, or a static portrait. While Clear Skies solved this problem by using Half Life 2 to simulate in-ship environments, it is a far cry from the visual styles we see in Eve. With the advent of Walking in Stations this promises to change completely. With access to both in-space and in-station environments, as well as dynamic representation of our avatars, Eve online machinima stands to be drastically improved.
