- Blueprint copy consumed in the invention attempt.
- Copy Slot

- Installation
- 1. A station service that allows for the creation of an activity job.
- 2. A starbase array that allows for the creation of an activity job.
- 3. The act of creating an activity job using a slot.

- Job
- A single purchased and installed activity. ex. I have one invention job currently running.

- Manufacturing Slot
- An activity slot that may only be used for the manufacturing activity.
- Material
- Any item that is a consumed, damaged or simply required to complete a industry activity.
- Mats
- (abbr.) Materials
- Max Run Copy
- A blueprint copy with the maximum number of production runs still available. Usually 1500.
- Max Skills
- The condition of having all material and time efficiency affecting skills to level 5.
- Minerals
- Any of the eight materials gained from refining ore.
- Moon Material
- Any material that results from the activity of moon harvesting or as a direct result of the refining of those materials.

- New Blueprint
- A blueprint original with the same statistics as those sold by on the market: no material or time efficiency research.

- (abbr.) Original blueprint.

- Personal Slot
- An activity slot provided by the current ship.
- Polymers
- A highly advanced material manufactured from fullerenes and utilized in the manufacturing of subsystem components.
- Processed Materials
- 1. An intermediate moon material obtained through the refining of raw materials and utilized in the manufacturing of advanced materials.
- 2. An intermediate planetary interaction material obtained through the refining of raw materials and utilized in the manufacturing of refined commodities.
- Public Slot
- An activity slot provided by a station or outpost that is available to the public.

- Raw Materials
- 1. Basic moon materials obtained through a moon harvesting array utilized in the manufacturing of processed materials.
- 2. Basic planetary interaction materials obtained through an extractor unit and utilized in the manufacturing of processed materials.
- Refined Commodities
- An intermediate planetary interaction material obtained through the refining of processed materials and utilized in the construction of specialized commodities.
- Remote Installation
- The act of installing an activity job into a starbase, station, or outpost slot using a blueprint located elsewhere within the solar system.
- Run
- The unit that represents one manufacturing activity. Blueprint copies have a finite number of manufacturing activities that when depleted result in the destruction of the copy.

- Seeded
- (slang) Available in near unlimited quantities and sold by NPCs at a fixed price.
- Slot
- A single unit of location provided by a starbase array, station, or outpost service that an activity occupies. ex. This assembly array has eight slots available.
- Specialized Commodities
- An advanced planetary interaction material obtained through the refining of refined commodities and utilized in the manufacturing of advanced commodities.
- Station Component
- A component utilized in the construction of an outpost.
- Subsystem Components
- A highly advanced component utilized in the construction of tech III ships and sub-systems.
