A

Activity 

Any of the six types of manufacturing or research. Manufacturing, Material Research, Time Efficiency Research, Copying, Invention, Reverse Engineering

Alliance Slot 

An activity slot available at an alliance starbase structure or outpost.

Assembly Array 

Any of the starbase structures called Assembly Arrays that provide slots to do manufacturing activities.

Copy 

Blueprint copy consumed in the invention attempt.

Copy Slot 

An activity slot that may only be used for the copying activity.

Corporation Slot 

An activity slot provided by a corporation owned startbase structure or outpost.

D

Datacore 

Datacores consumed in an invention attempt.

Decryptor 

Decryptors consumed in an invention attempt. These are optional, but modify the resulting blueprint of a successful attempt.

Installation

1. A station service that allows for the creation of an activity job.

2. A starbase array that allows for the creation of an activity job.

3. The act of creating an activity job using a slot.

Invention Skills 

Any of the twenty one skills that affect the outcome of invention activities.

Invention Slot 

An activity slot that may only be used for the invention activity.

Job 

A single purchased and installed activity. ex. I have one invention job currently running.

M

Manufacturing Slot 

An activity slot that may only be used for the manufacturing activity.

Max Run Copy 

A blueprint copy with the maximum number of production runs still available. Usually 1500.

Max Skills

1. The condition of having all three skills related to a specific invention attempt trained to level 5.

2. The condition of having all invention skills trained to level 5.

Original 

(abbr.) Original blueprint.

P

Personal Slot 

An activity slot provided by the current ship.

Public Slot 

An activity slot provided by a station or outpost that is available to the public.

R

Remote Installation 

The act of installing an activity job into a starbase, station, or outpost slot using a blueprint located elsewhere within the solar system.

S

Sacrifice 

(slang) An optional item consumed in the invention attempt used to improve the chance of success.

Slot 

A single unit of location provided by a starbase array, station, or outpost service that an activity occupies. ex. This assembly array has eight slots available.
