Corporation Description

Beginnings

Lazy Man Inc was started in 2007 by Calberin; he was tired of being told what to do by other CEO's. Calberin wanted to make a corporation where people could join and do their own thing; primarily it was so a group of real life friends From Australia could play EvE Online together.

For the first 6 months of Lazy man Inc's life there were a total of 5 active members, this does not include Alt's. While roaming the universe we decided to start recruiting some more members, as we were only a high sec mission running and Mining Corporation we thought it would be easy to get new members. Whilst trying to recruit in the heavily spammed recruitment channel, we were contacted by another corporation about merging with them.

Calberin put it to all of the members, all 5 of us about merging with this other corporation, the vote started. We all agreed maybe a new direction would be fun, so with an alt to hold Lazy Man Inc open we all left and joined Blood-Adders. After about 3 weeks we found we were still in the same situation, not many people in our time zone. We all left the corporation and moved back to Lazy Man Inc.

Progression

Towards the end of 2007 we were all now back in Lazy Man Inc the 5 of us. Calberin now started recruiting heavily and we started getting some new members, the best recruit came in the form of a fellow Australian called Boarath as one of our newest recruits we assigned him the role of Chief Recruitment Officer. Lazy Man Inc grew rapidly with Boarath recruiting.

Lazy Man Inc now had well over 20 members; there were quite a few rookies on trial accounts. We all worked hard with these rookies to keep them interested in the game and our corporation. We lost a few, but we kept a lot of good members as well. Calberin was now trying to improve his game even further and had the idea of creating an Alliance.

After discussing it with the members of Lazy Man Inc Calberin decided to go ahead with his plans and started to train the immense skills to create an alliance. Lazy Man Inc was in t\the meantime making friends with other Corporations in the area. The most significant being Cosmic Cimmerians, this PvP Corporation was looking for miners and shi builders to help them with their PvP goals and Lazy Man Inc thought it could help.

On the 1st January, 2008 Calberin created our shiny new Alliance we had decided to call it Elite Trade Group thinking Lazy man Inc would be the head of industry and mining. We invited our new friends to join us, Cosmic Cimmerians and they accepted, as they were going to be the PvP wing of Elite Trade Group .

Corporation Changes

After the birth of Elite Trade Group Lazy Man Inc found itself lacking a full time CEO, as Calberin had a new real life job and it was eating into his EvE play time. Calberin decided it was time to step down as CEO and let a more active player do the work. The task was handed to Rauderberg, he had a lot of work before hi especially the fact that not only did he have a Corporation to run but he was also the Alliance leader.

With Rauderberg now at the helm Lazy Man Inc blindly blundered its way into Low Sec space and POS Management. There was lots of ISKies to be made; Lazy Man Inc has since tried its hand at many EvE Online business ventures. We have made ammunition we went into simple and complex reactions on our POS's. We then started on the invention and made many tech II items including ships and modules. Lazy Man Inc now has many seasoned players that take on the many aspects of EvE Online.

Recent Changes

Rauderberg has left Lazy Man Inc to join the new holding corporation for Elite Trade Group Alliance to remain in control of the Alliance. Lazy Man Inc is now under the control of Rauder which is just a Rauderberg Alt.

Lazy Man inc has merged with Cosmic Cimmerians, this is to further the efforts of making Elite Trade Group better. Lazy Man Inc was a great corporation and may be again one day, but at this stage the alliance comes first.

Corporation Goals

Main Goals

Lazy Man Inc is like any Corporation in its main goals, this is to make lots of ISK and to have fun on the way. We would always like to be improving and having bigger and better projects all the time.

Secondary Goals

Make a home in 0.0 where our Corporation members can have the benefits of the isk generating options found there. We would always like to grow and have a friendly and healthy member base.
