Pre-Capsuleer

Joron Darkdust was born in YC 73 on a Hyasyoda station in Ohkunen (The Forge). His mother, Rhylena Darkdust, worked as a prostitute and occasional barmaid. The identity of his father was never known. He spent his childhood in the lower station decks where his mother worked. Like many poor youths across the cluster, he was constantly in trouble for fighting, stealing, gambling, and other relatively petty crimes. In particular, he had a penchant for toying with electronic surveillance systems and eventually data systems.

He eventually worked as a technician on an Hyasyoda mining colony before being pressed into service by a roaming Guristas raider patrol. During a port stop, he slipped out and escaped with stolen data on their operations in that constellation. Making his way back to civilized space, he presented himself to the Corporate Police Force with the data. During the debriefing, routine testing found that he had the genetic traits suitable for capsuleer training and he began the arduous process of becoming a pilot.

Ecliptic Rift

In 110.09, shortly after graduating from the Science and Trade Institute's course in executive command, Darkdust joined Ecliptic Rift as the head of security for several months. However, after a lapse in security led to the destruction of the corporation's starbase in Metropolis five months later, he resigned from the corporation and disappeared from public view for an extended period.

Anshar Incorporated

He reappeared on the scene in 112.05, when he joined Anshar Incorporated. Having now affiliated himself with Serpentis and the Intaki Syndicate, he moved to the Domain region, where he spent time studying and testing recovered Sansha technology, particularly sensors and shield systems.
