James "Jim" Gheris (gair-iss; born circa YC80) is a capsuleer and current owner of The Sole Regret bar, located on the Hek VIII - Moon 12 - Boundless Creation Factory Station.

Life And Career

Early Life

Little is known regarding Gheris' early life, due in large part to an absence of federal census data for anyone with the family name of "Gheris." It is not, however, uncommon for pod-pilots to abandon their former identities when submitting themselves to the CONCORD licensing process, which may explain the lack of information. At the time of his licensing in YC113, Gheris' age was listed as 32, meaning he was likely born in YC80. His homeworld was also listed as Colcer X, a desert world within the Everyshore region of Federation space.

Capsuleer Status

Gheris was officially licensed by CONCORD as a capsuleer on 30 March, YC113 at the (presumed) age of 32, the training necessary to operate a hydrostaic capsule having provided by the Federal Navy Academy from which he formally graduated on 10 April, YC113. Further information regarding his time in the Academy remains classified, leaving the length of his enrollment and his particular disapline a matter for speculation.

Business Ventures

Shortly after obtaining capsuleer status, Gheris purchased the Drunken Hog Bar and Nightclub on the Hek VIII - Boundless Creation Factory Station and began a series of extensive renovations ending in December of YC113. On 5 January YC114, the bar officially reopened under the name The Sole Regret. It has remained in operation to the present day.
