Eve University is a neutral training corporation, founded in March of 2004 by Morning Maniac to help new pilots learn the intricacies of the Eve Universe. It is the founding member of the Ivy League Alliance.

Eve University exists to take new pilots and train them in the various aspects of EVE; everything from PvP to Industry, teaching them all they need to know to become a successful capsuleer.

There are no costs to joining the University. A small tax on bounties and mission rewards along with donations from well-wishers are used to run various programs, including providing ships, modules, ammo and skillbooks to University members, among other benefit and discount programs. The University also provides a wide range of research and manufacturing services available to all students. The University offers a knowledge bank of guides, maintains its own wiki , provides one-to-one mentoring, and regularly holds classes and events with members.

A common misconception is that E-UNI focuses on teaching only PvP, and while this is a large part of the experience, especially in the event of a war, many other subjects are also taught covering nearly every aspect of Eve Online.
