Hidetoshi Rushd is a respected scientist, specialised in starship engineering (all races) and the manufacturing of T2 and T3 components, as well as capital construction.

Currently Rushd is a director of Hejaz Industries. Hejaz Industries is specialised in capital construction and actively involved in seeding the markets with large scale production of capital components and control towers.

In November 2010 Rushd achieved engineering success by constructing an Amarr Factory outpost, fully using Planetary Interaction, from the stage of extracting raw materials from planets all the way up to the point that the outpost became ready for deployment. It remains unknown in which system this outpost has been deployed, however rumour has it that this outpost became a permanent addition to a system in the northern region Vale of the Silent. Rushd profited more financial gain from this tremendous achievement by selling his construction schematics to several bids.
