History

GERKI started out as a small corp based around Alachene (System) and Luminaire (System), fending off local pirates in the Alachene Guard. Having secured a resident slot in Fade from D2, they experienced their first few months of living in 0.0 space. Several corporations were kicked from Die Patrizier and GERKI joined the , The Fifth Race (T5R), then a D2 resident alliance.

With the MC-led invasion reaching Fade, and D2 not really trying to hold it, T5R decided to evacuate their assets and retreat to the empire. Looking for some space of its own, plans were made to grab a piece of the drone regions, specifically the U-HMS3 (Constellation). Though Antares Frontier, the other corp in T5R, helped with the initial move, they decided to stay with D2 in the northernmost regions.

The FROST Alliance was born and for the first time the German Kings claimed space on their own. The Golden Age for them began with an abundance of ISK, a capital production line was started and the corp model change to communism while keeping a tax rate of 25% (a special feature of the bountyless drone NPCs). But life wasn't that easy, accessible stations were several jumps away, transport from/to the empire was managed by a single Thanatos and not all neighbours were willing to make friends. INVICTUS. was the biggest and most problematic neighbour. Their harrassment only stopped when FROST merged with OPUS, who were residents of an alliance with positive standing to INVICTUS and claimed systems next to U-HMS3.

For a while relative peace was enjoyed before SmashKill decided to expand their space, and after a little bit of struggle OPUS evacuated their assets to the empire. Scouting a few regions, the next home was found in Outer Ring. A more densely populated region with more hostile entities around and not as much ISK to be made. Soon internal corp struggles began and mounting pressure from a more powerfull neighbour resulted in GERKI leaving OPUS and Outer Ring behind.

Leaving 0.0 wasn't as much a blow as the corp theft that followed. Allmost all blueprints and all assets were stolen, striking a fatal blow to the financial situation of the corp. Several senior members left in frustration and founded the all PVP corporation Klonkrieger.

Khanid (Region) & FROST II ...

At the end of february 2oo8 Ger-Ki joined Majesta Empire (ME) and helped fighting against Insurgency. After a long war ME settled down in western Branch claiming its own space with one station.

Everything went well within the Northern Coalition until in Summer 2oo8 the Greater BoB Coalition started their Maximum Campaign. BoB and it's befriended forces moved north and alongside powerful allies the pilots of Majesta Empire faced the enemy. The war lasted almost until the end of 2oo8 and large areas of the northern regions became resorted. Majesta Empire moved to Vale and there lies the very space which the Ger-Ki pilots call their home now.
