Gallente Election Status

It’s election time in the Federation, a time when politics aficionados and all-around attention-seekers come crawling from under the rock of obscurity. A time, too, for corporations to bathe briefly in the limelight of the Federal media. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Circus is in town, and you’re cordially invited to jump on board.

Any corporation can sign up for one of the three presidential candidates. Once the sign up process is completed, the corporations will compete indirectly against other corporations signing up for the same candidate by doing missions for agents of that candidate. These missions will give out Candidate Vouchers, which will be used to determine the overall winners.

The top five corporations for each candidate will receive a Gallente Navy Dominix Battleship as a reward. In addition, they get to nominate one of their own to become an Emissary for their chosen candidate in one of the regions controlled by the Federation. The Emissary is the charged with promoting the cause of his candidate for the presidential elections in December.

The rules are simple, all corporations with a membership of 5 or greater are eligible to sign up. However, if more than 50 corporations sign up for the same candidate, then corporation standing towards the Gallente Federation will be used to cut it down to 50.

Also note that the chosen Emissary must be a Gallente, if a winning corporation has no Gallente characters, then it is eliminated from the competition and the next corporation in line gets to choose an Emissary.
