Fiction Articles

The guidelines set here for working with fictional articles and verifiying their integrity are not to be considered final. Any discussion, comments or suggestions to improve these guidelines please use the dicussion page for and we will keep tabs on it all and improve it as time moves on.

Fictional Integrity

If you edit/add a fictional article or spot a fictional article that you are not sure is canon then first make sure that the last edit was not done by a CCP employee. If that is the case then please take the following steps:

Add {{Fiction}} template to the top of the article. This will automatically put the article in a "Unverfied Fiction" category.

Ficitonal Reviews

The Storyline team will attempt to regularly visit the "Unverfied Fiction" category and process all the fiction within it, edit the article and then republish them.

Fan Fiction / Opinion pages

If you are adding a piece of fiction created by yourself, please add it to the category: category:Player Created Fiction, otherwise please follow the guidelines in fictional integrity.

Locked Pages

We are aware of the contention around these pages and if the above system works nicely we may well consider unlocking them to allow the community to edit the articles. It is certainly not our intention to keep out the community and their efforts only to ensure a solid foundation for the fictional universe of EVE Online.
