Short Description
Eve Service Corp (EVSCO) is the ingame variant of the EVSCO Website, they specialize in hosting for the Eve Online community.
Their main focus is killboard hosting, where at the time of writing, they hosted 3896 killboard (1617 pilot killboards, 1981 corporation killboards and 298 alliance killboards).
EVSCO owns a series of domains that allow players to create killboards using sub-domains under these. Best known are
- eve-kill.net
- killmail.org
- mindflood.org
EVSCO was created 2008.11.18 by Beansman (Ingame HyperBeanie), Karbowiak and Ralle030583. The 3 players all ran killboards and could see a huge advantage in combining their work and services.
Services
EVSCO provides free (ad-based) and paid killboard. A killboard can be created by visiting evsco.net and clicking "Create" in the top menu.
EVSCO provides several ways of contacting them. Fastest and most reliable is the Live Support which is a Java based IRC client (#esc @ irc.coldfront.net). Another option is to use the Ticket system and last but not least the forum.
EVSCO fetches killmails from as many killboards and API keys as they can get hold of. At evsco.net/?a=feed you can add your killboard feed and at eve-kill.net/?a=apikey you can add your API key to the system.
EVSCO is usually open to suggestions and co-operation with other sites and services. Examples are the Northern Crusade
and Dotlan Evemaps. There have also been examples of players requesting to have a query run on the database to generate statistical data to be used in projects.
EVSCO hosts and image proxy containing all the images from the CCP Image Dump and the Eve-Dev killboard image dump. The service is free to use and is available and browsable at cdn.evsco.net.

The setups also describe the change the killboard code has gone through and where the workload has been placed.

- Master-Master database replication, http servers on database servers and dedicated http proxy server
- Master-Master database replication, mysql-proxy and http server
