The EVE Tribune is a player-run fan 'zine published weekly with roughly 10K to 15K distinct visitors per week. It was created by the Tribune's owner, Mr. M. Originally the 'zine had no editor but Mr. M, a native Swede, chose Faolan to serve as its first Editor in Chief in order to make sure that the articles were accessible to any native English speaker.

Editorship was passed on to FinnAgain Zero who later added Zarch AlDain as the Managing Editor and both Kirith Kodachi and Miyamoto Isoruku as Copy Editors. Contributors are paid in ISK for their articles.

Known for a blend between guides, rants-and-raves, short fiction, news reporting, devil's advocate discussions and the occasional piece of actual investigative journalism, the Tribune has long offered an eclectic mix to its readers.

The Tribune's long-standing editorial philosophy is that every writer is free to express their opinion in print as long as they can make it interesting and it's not total bull (as subjectively determined by the editors). Dissenting readers are always offered the standard writer's pay-scale and publication on the Tribune's main page if they choose to submit counter arguments to previously published Tribune content.
