"The massive amounts of signatures you are getting on your short range scan can only indicate one thing, a full combat fleet in station around the deadspace pocket. The Guristas Pirates would seem to be planning a large scale military operation in the area and you should expect nothing but the heaviest resistance should you try to oppose them here."

Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Point is an exploration complex commonly found anywhere inhabited by the Guristas, e.g. Venal. This exploration combat dungeon is one of the rarer, and harder to find, Guristas complexes.

Room1 The initial spawn consists of 3 Frigate class; 3 Cruiser class; and 4 Battleship class npcs.

A second wave will spawn consisting of 3 Frigate class; 3 Cruiser class; and 6 Battleship class npcs.

Room2 The initial spawn consists of 2 Frigate class: 2 Cruiser class; 4 Battleship class; 4 Cruise Missile Batteries; 2 Neutralizer Batteries; and 2 Point Defence Batteries npcs.

A second wave will spawn consisting of 2 Frigate class; 2 Cruiser class; and 4 Battleship class npcs.

A final third wave will spawn consisting of 2 Frigate class; 2 Cruiser class; and 3 Battleship class npcs.

If the exploration site escalates, you will recieve a message and a journal entry directing you to the next objective. If nothing happens then this exploration is finished.

"The last Guristas Battleship sends out a distress signal before it goes down. Luckily your com systems have managed to decrypt the message and follow it to it's final destination."

Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Point 2

The initial area (directly upon warp-in, no pre-gate) in this escalating expedition consists of an initial spawn comprised of 3 Frigates class; 3 Cruiser class; and 4 Battleship class npcs.

A second wave will be triggered, consisting of 3 Cruise Missiles batteries and 2 Neutraliser batteries. (These may spawn after "3rd wave"

A third wave will spawn consisting of 5 Frigate class and 4 Battleship class npcs.

Finally, a fourth wave will spawn consisting of 2 Frigate class; 3 Cruiser class; and 3 Battleship class npcs, Can spawn a intoxicated Commander that can drop 12th overseer lewts. (Received escalation off of "Guristas Scout Commander", was unnecessary to enter next room 6NOV11)

After all of these enemy ships have been destroyed, you are able to take the acceleration gate into the second room. Here you will met by an initial defense wave consisting of 5 Cruise Missile Batteries; 1 Heavy Neutralising battery III; 2 Gurista Point Defense Batteries; 5 Battleship class; 3 Cruiser class; and 3 Frigate class npcs.

A second wave of enemy ships will spawn to defend the area. This wave contains 5 Frigate class; 5 cruiser class; and 5 Battleship class npcs.

Dread Guristas Fleet Staging Point 3

Warning: This final stage fires Citadel Torpedos that can instantly destroy any craft not suitably equipped for it!
Please note: This final stage of the escalting exploration is not situated in a deadspace area. Guristas Fleet Stronghold launches Citadel Torpedos every 30 seconds. These torpedos deal 180000 points of EM damage (for a total of 6000 DPS). Guristas Fleet Stronghold can also web.

The initial spawn in this area consists of 3 Dire Frigate class; 2 Dire Cruiser class; and 5 Battleship class npcs; there is also a Guristas Fleet Outpost here.

After the initial spawn has been dealt with, you need to attack the Guristas Fleet Outpost. At around 50% shields the Outpost will respond to defend itself by launching 6 Cruise Missile Batteries. Deal with the batteries and continue with the Outpost. At armor damage it will launch 3 Neutraliser Batteries and a wave of 3 Dire frigate class; 3 Dire cruiser class; and 5 Battleship class npcs. Clean up the spawn and continue with the Outpost. At 50% armor it will launch another wave, 6 Battleships; 5 Dire Cruisers, and around 5 dire frigates.

After you have dealt with those waves, you simply have to destroy the Guristas Fleet Outpost to complete the escalation. Any items of value will be dropped in a cargo container from the Guristas Fleet Outpost.

Hint: Guristas Fleet Outpost repairs itself, both shield and armor. You will need at least ~900 DPS to take it down.
Hint: Guristas Fleet Outpost can switch targets.
Hint: Approximately 200km results in no aggro from either spawns or Guristas Fleet Outpost.
Hint: With a large orbit, Guristas Fleet Outpost and spawns can be speed-tanked.
Hint: The Citadel Torpedos have very little hp and one hit from a large well timed smartbomb will detonate it before impact.
Hint: The Final Stage is NOT located in a deadspace area. Meaning it is accessible to capital ships. A mothership or seiged dreadnought can destroy the stronghold in seconds and can easily tank all spawns if setup to resist EM Kinetic and Thermal damage.
Please note: The Guristas Fleet Outpost will drop a 22nd Tier Overseer's Personal Effects, and may drop Pith A-Type modules (like Pith A-Type Shield Boost Amplifier) and Dread Guristas faction items.
