Dominion


In the last newsletter we have dedicated our short survey to Dominion expansion. These are the findings:

Greater majority (97%) of respondents have played EVE after Dominion release.
Satisfaction with Dominion expansion appears quite high among respondents. Average satisfaction level calculated by mean is 5 (on a scale from 1 to 7):

Satisfaction with Dominion expansion among users with longer EVE experience is lower than among users that joined EVE 2 or less years ago.

Of all the features offered for evaluation in the survey, In-Game Browser, Upgraded Planets and Starfields, In-Game Mail system and Fleet Finder System were given "satisfied" or "very satisfied" feedback by majority of respondents with 77%, 74%, 73% and 66% positive votes respectively.

Satisfaction with expansion shows statistical dependence on main character's primary activity; Role players, Pirates and NPC hunters are generally more satisfied with Dominion than others:

Biggest group of respondents identifies primary activity of the main character as Running Missions:

More players seem to shift into PvP when their characters mature, at the same time Mission Running and Mining decreases the longer respondents play EVE:

Younger respondents appear more satisfied with recent expansion than older ones do:

Overall, Dominion expansion to some degree meets expectations of 77% of respondents; expectations of 40% of respondents have been met completely or even exceeded:
