Disabling Eve Voice

If you are experiencing problems in relations to Eve Voice, you can always temporarily disable Eve Voice altogether on the client side until the problem gets resolved.

To do this, you need add the line voiceenabled=0 at the bottom of the prefs.ini file located under

• Windows 2000 and XP

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\Settings 

• Windows Vista and 7

C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\Settings

• Macintosh

/Users/username/Library/Preferences/Eve Online/Preferences/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/settings

Remember to save changes made to the file before launching the client again
