Coração Ardente - meaning 'Burning Heart' in Portuguese, is a small PvP corp that has never exceeded 140 members, with over half being alts. It was founded by INZi of Species 8472 and commonly known by their ticker simply as cora. as well as their cat based signatures.

They specialize in small gang warfare including Remote Rep Gangs and Smart Bomb BS gangs. They are known for their high combat efficiency and experience with most members greatly exceeding 40 million Skill Points.

They are one of the original members of the Triumvirate. Alliance that conquered Deklien, however they left with Spartan Industries and The Illuminati after disagreements over some of the new member corps not pulling their weight (Quam) and another that was considered dead weight (DORM).

After leaving the alliance they joined up with The Illuminati and Spartan Industries in the Cruel Intentions alliance which had been kept as a holding alliance by Spartan Industries. However once The Illuminati had joined Pandemic Legion and Spartan Industries had become inactive there was little point in carrying on with Alliance which was only used for standings and easier gang Invites.

By this time Triumvirate up north had folded and although having left were still on extremely good terms with Rionnag Alba and D00M. from Triumvirate. they put together a new alliance, The Requiem, with some former Insurgency members Corp 1 Allstars [CORP1], Game Over [GAME] and Celestial Apocalypse [CELES] and former Mercenary Coalition Members Body Count Inc. [BDCI], With H A V O C joining later. However after a short amount of time coracao ardente found they could not work with this group of people with some corps again not pulling there own weight in terms of terrible ship fits and awful FC's and other corps not working very well as a part of an alliance, they decided leave with [D00M.] after the straw that broke the camels back was the Titan Loss seen by the corp as idiotic and terribly fit.

With [D00M.] they decided to reform Triumvirate. asking Rionnag Alba to join them (Who were still in The Requiem at the time) along with Burn Eden [UDIE] with the aim of recapturing what the Alliance had been originally about, PVP. With eXceed inc. [IXC] and H A V O C who had impressed during there time in the Requiem joining them they proceeded to attack the North and eventually ended up capturing the Region of Vale of the Silent after initially placing down a few Towers to 'get a fight'.

After deciding that the region was not profitable enough to hold they decide to abandon it and decided to attack G00Dfellas who occupied their former home of Deklein, however this turned out to be incredibly bad timing as the NC had decided to do exactly the same thing at the same time, with the Assistances of TCF, A prominent French Alliance from the South. They went back on positive terms with G00dfella's however the sheer numbers of the NC could not be fought.

Triumvirate. then decided to disband again with several corps deciding it was time to try a new direction. coracao ardente and Rionnag Alba decided to head south away from their Northern homes and set Blue standings with Against All Authorities, hoping to join as they represented a PVP focused Alliance that coracao ardente was used to. During there time down south many members became home sick of their true home which was the north, specifically Venal and with members complaining of the amount of blues they had to maintain working along side Against All Authorities, Standings were reset and the corp moved back to Venal.

As luck would have it, Viper Squad [-VSQ-] one of the members from the first incarnation of Triumvirate. who coracao ardente had a good friendship with and who had taken a lot of their members in while they were inactive, had reformed. The decision was taken to move back to Venal and carry on with the Triumvirate. of old. PvP and mass destruction. [D00M.] who had briefly been merged into coracao ardente, decided to reform and with the addition of a new corp tr0pa de elite [BOPE], Triumvirate was re-formed again.

coracao ardente have been present in ever incarnation of Triumvirate. Along with D00M. and have always maintained good friendships with what it sees as the original Triumvirate corps that are still left around, Viper Squad [-VSQ-], D00M. Rionnag Alba and OMEN.
