Towards a corporation:
A window will open, containing a list of options and a selection button. Click the “Pick” button to select a corporation, type the name of the corporation in the search field that will pop up, select the corporation, then select the appropriate option (Non-aggression pact, friend, competition, enemy) from the list. Towards an Alliance:
A window will open, containing a list of options and a selection button. Click the “Pick” button to select an alliance, type the name of the alliance in the search field that will pop up, select the alliance, then select the appropriate option (Non-aggression pact, friend, competition, enemy) from the list. Special note: If you are the CEO of the executor corporation in an alliance you also have the option to declare war against a corporation or an alliance. To do that, open the corporation window > Alliances > Home and click the “Declare war” button. Search for a corporation or alliance and select it. A window will pop up informing you of the war declaration price and conditions. Click “Yes” to declare war or “No” to cancel. How these standings modifications are displayed to you is through your in space overview. With the default settings on you should see the pilots as such: If the pilot is in your fleet, his color tag would be purple with a white icon in the center. If the pilot is in your corporation, his color tag would be green with a white star in the center. If the pilot is at war with your corporation or alliance, his color tag would be red with a white star in the center. If the pilot is in your alliance, his color tag would be blue with a white star in the center. If the pilot has high standings, his color tag would be blue with a white cross in the center. If the pilot has good standings, his color tag would be light blue with a white cross in the center. If the pilot has a bad standing, his color tag would be orange with a white line in the center. If the pilot has a horrible standing, his color tag would be red with a white line in the center. If the pilot has a bounty on his head, his color tag would be black with a white skull in the center. The colors can be changed by right clicking on the field in question and selecting the color wanted. There you’ll also find a blinking function that can be toggled on and off. The defaults are: If a pilot has a security status below -5.0, he blinks red on your overview. If a pilot has a security status below zero, from zero to -5.0, he will show up as yellow on your overview. We encourage players to get familiar with these settings and to try modifying the settings as they can to see what effects their modifications do to their user interface.
