The Concord Spam Protection Act (CSPA)

"According to the CONCORD Spam Prevention Act, all communication initiations between parties that have not explicitly whitelisted each other through the use of an access control list shall be subject to a configurable service fee which shall be collected by the Fluid comm operator."

Function

The charge is applied to any attempt to send an evemail, open a private conversation or issue a fleet invite to a pilot who has choosen to enable it.


Settings

The CSPA settings can be edited in the "mailing list configuration window". This window is access by opening the "eve mail" box,

clicking on the 3 white lines in front of the title and 

choosing "settings" from the context menu.

CSPA settings are under the heading "Incomming Communications". Options are :

  • Require CSPA charge from unknown characters
  • Block Unknown Characters
  • CSPA charge

The "CSPA Charge" field allows to individually set the charge to an amount between 0 and 1.000.000 ISK. Setting it to Require CSPA at 0 allows people to freely send you eve mails.

Comments

People on a pilots buddy list are automatically exempt from the CSPA charge.

The collected CSPA fee is removed from the game. It will not be placed into the reciepient's wallet.
