Boses (Character)
OverviewBoses served as an officer in the Caldari Navy prior to enrolling in the State War Academy's capsuleer program. Upon his graduation, he left the Navy in favor of independent work. While still having strong ties to the Caldari Navy, Boses remains an independent capsuleer who has seen employ by a number of independent capsuleer run organizations, both in Empire space as well as the lawless null-sec regions... Early days as a PilotBoses' early career as an independent pilot saw the founding of a small Citadel based mining corporation, Galactic Industries. It was during this time that Boses had his first encounters with pirates, losing an Osprey cruiser to an ambush in Kubinen. Undeterred however, he continued his career as a prospector for several months, while at the same time honing his skills as a combat pilot. Eventually, Galactic Industries folded, and Boses was forced to move on to greener pastures... Traveling the EmpiresAfter the closing of Galactic Industries, Boses left the Caldari State and traveled for a time between the different empires. He first stopped in the lawless territories separating the Republic from their nomadic brethren, the Thukker Tribe. Here he continued his work as a prospector, and while dodging local pirates and thieves, made a decent living. It was in these sparsely populated backwaters that Boses first met Jiny, a young Matari girl struggling to survive. Feeling sympathy for her, he allowed her to work as part of his mining barge's crew, and quickly saw that she had the makings of a capsule pilot. Eventually, he decided to sponsor her for a capsuleer academy. After failing to convince her to apply to the State War Academy, he relented to her choice, the Republic Military School, instead. With a promise that the debt would be repaid, Boses left her to study and continued his travels. His next stop was the Amarr Empire, where he worked as both an independent prospector, as well as a contract pilot for the Imperial Navy, battling the Sansha's Nation and Blood Raider incursions there. While the work was plentiful and the profits good, Boses eventually moved on to other opportunities, namely the chance to strike at the State's old nemesis, the Federation... Outlaw lifeDuring his stay in the Amarr Empire, Boses came in contact with a small pirate group operating on the fringes of the Federation called Kapital Punishment. Seeing a chance to be a thorn in the State's #1 enemy's side was to good to pass up, and Boses joined the group. Although originally intent on causing damage to the Federation, Boses soon became caught up in the life of piracy, and was before long raiding ships from a number of independent, as well as Federation, corporations. Eventually, as Kapital Punishment's ranks began to grow, the decision was made to move. After changing the group's name to Woopatang, they first moved to the borders of the Ammatar Mandate, then later the Intaki Syndicate, all the while attacking whatever targets presented themselves. Boses eventually found himself, along with most members of Woopatang, black-listed by Concord from all of Empire space, including his home... Opportunities in null-sec, rise and fall of a KingdomWith their access to the Empires rescinded, Woopatang joined forces with a number of other corps to form Primary., and set out to create a home for themselves in null-sec. An opportunity presented itself in Scalding Pass, and soon Primary. had secured themselves a home in 1v-li2 and the surrounding systems. What followed was a period of prosperity, that saw the expansion of Primary.'s holdings, and the construction of another outpost. A series of wars with neighboring groups and constant raids by roving gangs kept the combat pilots of Primary. with plenty to do. While the industrialists and miners earned millions from rich ore deposits and other resources, those pilots who had previously been banned from Empire space were able to earn their way back into society with their actions against the Angel Cartel forces lurking in the region. Eventually, a call went out from one of Primary.'s allies, and a large part of their military forces was relocated to Esoteria, during which time their home territories were guarded by a small force left behind together with local allies. After this campaign, which was only partially successful, Primary. leadership made the decision to relocate the alliance permanently to the Drone regions, selling off their holdings in Scalding Pass. This decision polarized the alliance, and led to a large number of corps leaving. The Drone regions themselves proved less then what had been promised, and Primary. left soon after, returning to their old hunting grounds in the Intaki Syndicate to regroup and reassess their options. Return to the StateAfter following Primary. on their campaigns in null-sec, and returning to the Intaki Syndicate, Boses had earned his way back into Concord's favor. While retaining his membership in Woopatang, he elected to return to the State and seek out his old contacts in the Caldari Navy... Top Contributors For This Page |
