More about Bordan

Players are welcome to add lore and interesting information.

Bordan has had a long and interesting past. From early days Bordan and the Heti constellation have attracted many intrepid explorers, builders, miners and even a few pirates.

The BCA

One of the earliest organizations to form in and around Bordan was the Bordan Cooperations Alliance also known as the BCA. During it's time it claimed Bordan as it's capital system, while also claiming the whole of the Heti constellation under its protection and jurisdiction. It was composed of 8-10 corporations that governed via an alliance council. In the end the power of the council was undermined by Kain Storm who attempted to use the BCA as a tool to influence the then waning Fountain Alliance. Eventually this then led to a division in the BCA.

The BCA dissolved after tension built within the organization. This then led to a civil war within the BCA. Both involved factions reformed into the Allied Defense Cooporation (ADC) and The Draconian Federation. After a long and vicious war that involved several outside mercenary corporations the Draconian Federation dissolved with most of its members moving away from the Heti constellation.

The ADC

From that point on the ADC began to better organize and consolidate power. The first leader of the ADC was Lil Tek CEO of MoonRaker Industries. Other influential members included Gigs CEO of Phoenix Industries, Matthias DuBastyra CEO of House Draconis, Winlander CEO of The Dragoons, and finally Augustus Richter of Phoenix Industries.

The ADC was composed of more then 10 corporations however Phoenix Industries, House Draconis and The Dragoons were the major power block within the alliance. They declared Bordan as the capital system of the ADC and the outlaying systems of the Heti constellation as protected systems.

Approxiamately six months after the formation and victory of the ADC, Lil Tek was ousted from his leadership position and banished from Bordan, after a short war between MoonRaker Industries and Black Nova Syndicate lead by Augustus Richter.

Gigs of Phoenix Industries succeeded Lil Tek as leader of the ADC. During his tenure the ADC grew in power considerably. Membership in the ADC swelled to over 200 pilots and moves began to conquer, and control Assez and the adjoining systems.

The Fall

However 6-8 months after Gigs took over leadership several outside forces began to invade ADC controlled territory to include Bordan. Again another rift formed within the ADC which lead to the former ADC head fleet commander, Augustus Richter and his corporoation Black Nova Syndicate to wage a war of attrition against the ADC.

Over the proceeding 3-4 months the ADC suffered massive losses to Dead Pod Society, Black Nova Syndicate and several other invading forces. Finally the ADC dissolved as all of it's major corporations abandoned Bordan.

Eventually the Bordan system decended into a haven for pirates, most notably Augustus Richter of Black Nova Syndicate.

Eventually outside forces attempted to settle the Bordan system again despite the threat of piracy.
