Midna Lyre

The once-celebrated pop-star Midna Lyre makes a stunning return to the top of the Egonics Inc. charts with over 5 billion album sales. As the media attention on her grows, she is hit with a scandal linking her music and lifestyle to the ruthless Blood Raider pirates. Although she openly rejects the Blood Raiders, Lyre claims she does practice the same Sani Sabik faith, a stance that results in an attempt on her life.

Insorum Imbroglio

March – December YC 107

A scandal that begins in the heart of the Caldari State comes to involve the Blood Raiders, when they learn that a rogue scientist possesses a cure for Vitoc. Believed to be the key to freeing millions of slaves, the Minmatar Republic and Amarr Empire both vie for the Insorum antidote, while the Caldari State and Blood Raiders also seek to serve their own agendas.

After the Blood Raiders use Insorum in an attack on the Amarr planet of Mabnen I, the Amarr Empire declares war and strikes at the heart of their facilities, dealing a crushing blow to the cult.
