Truth be told, nobody knows BigMek Industries' real function. Rumors abound that it performs Super Cap production, Tech 2 production, moderation of the Goonfleet IRC channel as well as being an Ork Roleplay corp.

BigMek Industries was formed in 2006 to consolidate the industrial activities of a half dozen Goonfleet members who all knew each other since 2004 from the 'Something Awful' Dawn of War community. It was started with a research and Caesium moon mining tower in 2G- within the JQV Constellation of Syndicate, that was eventually taken down during the XZH Invasion. The corporation continues today with most of its founding members still active, most of whom are Security Industry professionals from Hobart, Australia.
