Bhaalgorn

Named after a child-devouring demon of Amarrian legend, the Bhaalgorn is the pride and joy of the Blood Raider cabal. Though it is known to be based on an Armageddon blueprint, the design's origin remains shrouded in mystery. Those of a superstitious persuasion whisper in the dark of eldritch ceremonies and arcane rituals, but for most people, the practical aspect of the matter will more than suffice: you see one of these blood-red horrors looming on the horizon, it's time to make yourself scarce.

The Bhaalgorn is a faction battleship available from the Blood Raider faction loyalty point stores. The Bhaalgorn is notorious for its energy vampire and neutralizing capabilities. Due to its bonuses, this ship is used mainly in PvP situations.
In the Dominion expansion the Bhaalgorn, along with many other pirate ships, got a slot layout / skill bonus change. The current version of the ship has a greater capability of doing damage than it's previous incarnation due to the natural special ability of +100% bonus to Large Energy Turret damage. Unlike the other members of the Blood Raider family of ships, the webifier bonus remained as a range bonus (as opposed to the Cruor or Ashimmu, which had their bonus changed to webifier strength).

The idea of this fit is to be used in conjunction with a larger remote repair BS fleet with enough support to make sure you stay alive. The DPS on this fit isn't high for a BS, but that is fine since the main purpose of the ship is to break the tanks of other ships via its 3 highly bonused heavy neutralizers, and to pin down faster targets with its range bonused webifiers. It is especially useful versus solo capital ships as the neutralization amount that is applied with render a capital ship's impressive tank useless rather quickly, allowing a gang that would normally be too small to engage for example, a carrier, to do so.
Another highly effective use of this ship is to break the capacitor exchange between paired logistics ships such as the Guardian or Basilisk, which can normally run their remote repair / transfer modules permanently due to their ability to generate capacitor out of thin air using energy transfer modules; be forewarned however, this tactic will not work when the enemy has more than 2 of the listed logistics ships in their fleet, as the amount of cap they can generate at that point will far exceed your neutralization ability.
