History

About a year before Bellum Esca’s actual founding, Terry Jones and Kronossan met during regular mining operations. Both had their base in the nulsec region of Pure Blind (Region), home of Fidelas Constans (Player alliance) (FCON) which they were a part of.

The regular industrialists within the alliance worked very closely together by providing constant intelligence reports, protection against reds and rats, sharing POS facilities, having a constant fleet up for boosting and more.

Certain hisec PVP corporations decided to keep FCON in a constant state of war. This made it very difficult for Terry Jones and Kronossan to get the stuff done they needed done while still having some time left to do things they thought were fun like mining.

Eventually Kronossan came up with the plan to start his own corporation and managed to convince Terry Jones to join him with a thick business plan. This business plan outlined the general direction for the corporation, its purpose and it contained a plan for the future.

After the name Bellum Esca, which is Latin for ‘fuel for war’ was chosen, the corporation was officially founded on June 19, 2011 with Terry Jones and Kronossan in a diarchic leadership structure but did not start recruiting until a couple of months later.

Mission

Bellum Esca is a small to medium sized corporation which focusses itself on PVE activities such as mining, production, mission running and exploration. Both lesser as well as more experienced players who operate in or around Amarr high security space, or are willing to move their day to day operations here, join our corporation to do the before mentioned activities together with other members and to have a goal set for them by the corporation.

Every type of player is welcome as long as they are not playing the game using a trail account and their main character has a minimum of six million skill points.

Bellum Esca tries to provide its members with longer-term objectives and goals, cut up into smaller milestones so that every player has a fair opportunity to use their in-game as well as out of game specialization and experience to advance the corporation as a whole and have a chance to be rewarded for their commitment. The corporation provides programs that allow members to sell the resources they gain from in-game activities to the corporation for a fair price. These resources will be used to produce goods with by the industry division. These goods are, in turn, sold on the open market or to members depending on demand.

Divisions

Industry Division

The industry division is spearheaded by Terry Jones who is also a co-founder of the corporation and a director. He fits the position perfectly as he’s able to fulfill pretty much every role.. at the same time with his army of alts constantly by his side.

The main activities of this division include but are certainly not limited to: - Mining operations - Production - Research and invention - Planetary Interaction - Market PVP - Processing minerals and salvage - Shipping and refining service

In the future, this division will be in charge of the player owned starbases which will be the base of our research, production and invention capabilities.

PVE Division

This division is lead by FlinchingNinja Kishunuba, a true mission runner who has recently gotten himself into a bit of exploration as well. The main task of the PVE Division is to assist people with their fittings and by teaming up for exploration and mission runs. At the moment, this division plays mainly an advisory role within the corporation.

In the future, this division will spearhead wormhole explorations and deployments into incursions. It will also be in charge of defending the corporation against any aggressors.

The biggest benefit of being a member of this division has to be the access to the several programs that have been set up. In short, these programs allow members to sell their mission loot directly to the corporation from several different mission hubs. One of these programs allows members to have their loot reprocessed for a small fee.
