Autolinker

In the past the Evelopedia had a feature called "autolinker" enabled for every edit made to the wiki. The result of this feature was that page titles with common words (Heat, for example) would be linked when not appropriate. Often articles would have hundreds of unnecessary links because of the autolinker.

The current naming conventions throughout Evelopedia were mostly designed to avoid issues with the autolinker.

In late 2009, the autolinker was converted into a manual process that could be performed, but for various reasons is often not used. However, some pages which were created when the autolinker was still a mandatory process remain more link-dense than truly necessary. If you come across such pages, particularly pages with a lot of redundant links, feel free to edit them and remove the unnecessary links.
