Arek'Jaalan Mailing List W1: Re-organization: Astrophysics division and current research project.

While I already have much responsabilities at the moment, and limited time, it would be inconsiderate to prevent this researchg group to benefit from my expertise. In short, I am ready, should the community need it, to give some of my time to oversee some of the research done. As most of you know, my specialty is astrophysics, and I could organise the research centered around celestial bodies and phenomenons found in Anoikis, or related to them. This include further research about the exact nature of wormholes and the conditions of their artificial creation.

In a related way, I would like to call for the common efforts of the community, just like my esteemed pair Pr Tukoss did. Let me explain :

It certainly occured to those of you who went into Anoikis that despite the local abundance of ores, our ships scanners identified every single chunk or asteroid as common ores, and not their sometimes richer, sometimes less useful variants. For example there is no "Golden" Omber, no Green Aristite Gneiss...

Also, while we can debate endlessly about some of the unidentified materials that have been used in the creation of Sleeper structures, it is very possible that we are mistakenly treating some of Anoikis' ores as plain ones, while they would have some extraordinary properties, lost through conventional refining.

The path I'd like to explore is the possibility that some of Anoikis' ores have special properties that could be observed through molecular-level study, and put to some use. And being an astrophysicist, I am naturally curious about what effects the "cosmic phenomenons" we can sometimes experience there have on the asteroids.

Preliminary studies have revealed that the pulsating phase of Pulsars had an inluence on the layering of materials in several ore types. I would like your assistance, capsuleers, colleagues, to conduct that experiment on a broader scale.

I would need the following :
- A sample of every ore found in W-space, non-reprocessed, non-comrpessed, extracted from a systeme close to a Black Hole.
- The same, extracted from a system close to a Cataclysmic Variable.
- The same, extracted close to a Magnetar.
- The same, under the influence of a Pulsar.
- The same, extracted from asteroids influenced by the rays of a Red Giant.
- The same, from a system where a Wolf Rayet is observable.

100 units of ore could be enough to constitute a sample that would not be depleted too fast by experiments.

Despite I would like to trust your word, this being an open mailing list, there is bound to be spies and other villains who are planning to send bogus information to undermine our efforts. I will therefore require a picture of the extraction with the phenomenon clearly visible with each contribution.

The funding of Sealbreaker Labs is limited, but I will try to offer at least symbolic prizes for your contributions. I read there are some benevolent and wealthy capsuleers around, who offer patronage to this project. If one of them thinks this research could improve our knowledge of Sleeper structures and Anoikis astrophysics, I will gladly provide him with the names of the contributors so they can recieve a better compensation that what I could afford.
