Overview: What is Site One?

Site One is a joint construction project being undertaken by the Arek'Jaalan collective. It represents an unprecedented collaborative effort between capsuleers and an empire faction (the Minmatar Republic - we hope to work with every empire in time).

The site's construction will be broken down into multiple phases (details on the total number remain uncertain). Phase I construction is focused on providing a foundation that can serve as a prototype for future site construction projects. Although limited in functionality to begin with, Site One material provisions being made now will allow for future expansions. As new technologies are created, it will be able to grow without any further contributions from capsuleers.

Phase I Details

Phase I serves primarily as a "proof of concept". It demonstrates with unprecedented clarity, a capsuleer interest in Sleeper research (and related matters). It demonstrates equally, that capsuleers are capable and interested in large-scale construction efforts to further said research.

As outlined briefly in the call for abstracts, Phase I will also include the construction of various "dispensers". These dispensers will allow visitors to take physical copies of each abstract, which can them disseminate amongst the capsuleer populace.

Work is continuing on other Phase I features. A final list will be compiled closer to construction date.

• The Republic has offered to house the site in Eram and provide security if it can be built before the next local military funding cycle. If we cannot complete material acquisition before funding is reorganized, there is a chance the Republic may not be able to make the same offer afterwards.
• If materials are not gathered in time, the site may be relocated to a nearby low security system. A likely candidate is Ennur, 5 jumps from Eram.

Material Contribution

Contributions of material should be contracted directly to Hilen Tukoss or exchanged over direct trade during his available hours. Contracts should ideally be placed in Eram, but any location will suffice. To check on available hours, query his profile while in-capsule. All contributions will be made public knowledge by default. Please advise Tukoss by mail if you wish to donate anonymously.
