Welcome to APS

APS is a Deployment and PvP megacorporation in the world of EvE and a spinoff from the elite pvp corporation Arachnea Phoenix Battalion, and run by the same people. Currently we have in excess of 200 members.

APS currently accepts any range of skilled players, whether they are new or veteran we will help you on your way to achieve your personal goals in eve as well as being part of a grander alliance and corporation based goal.

APS is very ambitious and has multiple PVP training operations every week. Null-sec is on the agenda and various scenarios for null-sec insertion exist, but we're looking for the right opportunity and time to strike.

We are regularly involved in empire wars and low/zero sec skirmishes, so we're not the corporation for the faint of heart.

History

APS was founded in Lonetrek late 2009 in response to an increasing need to train and maintain a pvp force with a good range of different ship types. Previously our fleets would consist only of the ships of the line and have basically no support from lesser skilled pilots in smaller vessels.

Organization

The directors and CEO of APS has been in many of the null-sec sovereignty holding alliances and various corporations, and have held director and ceo positions with other large corporations in the past. This makes us uniquely experienced as a corporation open to newbie training.

That said, we also bring in vastly more experienced members who've been involved in pvp for years. So it's a good mix of members able to field the best ships with adequate small ship support for them. Fleet composition and FC training is also given to those interested in this part of fleet operations. A skill quickly learned, yet time consuming to master.

Recruitment

This creates an opportunity for new pilots in New Eden to partake in a stable and working organization rather than joining various empire corporations where you and your ceo would have to reinvent the wheel in order to gain success.

We have an open recruitment policy which means we'll accept anyone interested in the field of PvP, but we try to avoid trials and spies. Which of course isn't always possible. All higher up roles are also taken, so director roles and such aren't granted anymore. We're not looking for new directors ;)

Locations

APS has multiple offices around EVE in all security space, including null sec. Main regions of operations is Lonetrek and Venal.

We also run recruitment advertising campaigns across 12 different regions most of the time.
