The Amarr control tower is something of an oddity as starbases go. It has the highest powergrid of any tower allowing it to fit more turrets than any other race. Unfortunately its already split industrial/defensive bonuses give bonuses to energy weapons, unpopular for their high powergrid use and limited damage types. It has equal trouble in the industrial realm where it is outshined by its Gallente counterpart in both CPU and in its silo bonus. Never the less, it is a versatile tower that needs no ammunition and can perform multiple functions well. This makes Amarr towers well suited to periphery zones and wormhole space, where they can operate and defend themselves for long periods of time without shuffling fittings and restocking constantly.
