History

The Akkan Corporation was founded by Xenon Anshar as a side street trading company trading pottery and geodes to local duripant civilians 5 months before the Caldari/Gallente War. 3 Months before the war the Akkan Corporation expanded as a local mining corporation groundside on Duripant V. When the Gallente/Caldari War started the Akkan Corporation begun funding the Federation Navy with groundside high grade metal ores to produce drones. During the War the Akkan Corporation struck rich on ground metal ore giving the Akkan Corporation the oppurtinity to move space wide. However, that nearly bankrupted the Akkan Corporation putting them in dead last on the Gallente's Poorest Corporations.

Current State

The Akkan Corporation is still one of the poorest corporations in New Eden. Also they are technogicly behind in mining technology and assests. The Akkan Corporation is based around Duripant and the near by systems. Occasionaly the Akkan likes to visit Caldari Space to mine for minerals that cannot be found in gallente space.

Branches

The Akkan Corporation might be a poor corporation but some experts classify the Akkan Corporation as a "Mega Corporation" like the Caldari Mega Corps. So the Akkan Corporation has two primary branches to seperate the members of the Akkan Corporation from one another.

Akkan Police Force or APF

The APF is the security division of the Akkan Corporation with a similar purpose of the Law Enforcment Arms of the Caldari Mega Corps. The APF follow a specific ranking system where the higher rank you go the more access you have the APF's Ship and Weapon storage.

• Cadet: Very Limited Ship Access unless specified otherwise

• Private: Access to all Akkan Police Light Frigates and Frigate Supplies

• Seargent: Access to all Akkan Police Frigates and Frigate Supplies

• Seargent 1st Class: Access to Akkan Destroyers, and Destroyer Supplies

• Captain: Access to Akkan Cruisers and Basic Cruiser supplies

• Major: Access to Akkan Adv. Cruisers, Tech II Frigates/Faction Ships and Adv. Cruiser Supplies

• Commander: Access to all Tech II Cruisers and Frigates/Destroyers/Faction Ships

• Field Commander: Access to Battlecruisers and Battlecruiser Supplies

• Rear Admiral: Access to all Tech II/Faction Supplies/Ships and Basic Battleships/BS Supplies

• Admiral: Free Access to all supplies and ships

Akkan Mining Rigs

Basicly the Mining Division of the Akkan Corporation. The Mining Rigs is also the largest division of the Akkan Corporation.

The current materal the AMR looks for is Tritanium and Pyrete due to ammunition manufacturing demand.

Akkan Corporation and the Empires

The Akkan Corporation currently has no ties with the 5 empires or CONCORD. However the Akkan Police Force Intelligence has been known to scavage DED log infomation based on pirate leaders, factions, ships ect. from wrecked DED or CONCORD warships, preferably the Yulai graveyard.

Akkan and Serpentis

The Akkan Corporation's primary enemy is the Serpentis Corporation due to their history with the Akkan Corporation. The Akkan Corporation has been known to salvage infomation from Serpentis wreckage or deep space outposts for info on their commanders.

Akkan and Sansha and other pirate factions

The APFI recently during a undercover operation took in a handful of Sansha slave prisioners during their first attack on Gallente space. Other then the Nation and the Serpentis currently the Akkan Corporation has no hostile or friendly tides with the other pirate factions. More infomation on the APFI and Sansha however is classified level Omega: EYES ONLY. Any leaks in this infomation is subjected to execution under APFI Law 1.4a.
