On YC111.08.15, a combined Against All Authorities, Atlas Alliance and Ushra'Khan fleet engaged a Cold Steel Alliance and Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) defense fleet in the 2J-WJY system. Attempting to defend a cynosural jamming array and two starbases, the Cold Steel and CVA forces were ultimately unable to prevent the attacking forces from achieving their objective and destroying the starbases. With over 300 battleships destroyed, losses were reckoned to be broadly even but with the strategic objective of breaking Cold Steel sovereignty achieved on YC111.08.17, the battle was a victory for the attacking forces. Even so, the attacking alliances did not press the claim and Cold Steel were able to regain sovereignty on YC111.08.21.
