Sovereignty notes M-OEE8 is notable as a gateway system in the Tribute region linked to the Caldari State region of Lonetrek. Morsus Mihi had sovereignty level 3 in the system before this was successfully contested and reduced to no control on 110.10.01.

Conflict notes:

Evidently determined to continue the assault on Morsus Mihi holdings in Tribute, BOB/GBC forces struck again at the strategically important M-OEE8 system with major battleship and capital forces on 110.09.27. The deployment of Avatar- and Ragnarok-class titans only emphasised the importance for BOB of this major effort. As in the past, BOB-allied forces included Axiom Empire, Beach Boys, Executive Outcomes and STYX, among other BOB-aligned corporations and alliances. With the Northern Coalition determined to oppose BOB's 'MAX' campaign, allies such as Caeruleum Alliance, IRON, Majesta Empire and RAZOR were present in force to aid the Morsus Mihi defenders. Defending forces took heavy losses in excess of 375 ships and vessels, together with the loss of at least one starbase. Notably, the BOB Ragnarok appears to have chosen to finish off the remaining arrays on one destroyed starbase with its doomsday weapon, possibly as a means to rapidly clear the moon of obstructions to the rapid anchoring of a BOB-aligned starbase. The assaulting forces took some 180 losses, while a number of other entities present in the system took a variety of losses. The categorization of these losses is made difficult by the status of M-OEE8 as a high-traffic system linking to empire space. In total some 650 ships and capsules were destroyed in the system on 110.09.27. Major warfare in M-OEE8 continued across the next three days, with a large battleship engagement on 110.09.28 seeing 80 battleships lost. On 110.09.29, a capital battle erupted during which 26 defending coalition dreadnoughts were lost together with a Morsus Mihi Aeon-class mothership. With the BOB/GBC forces taking no capital losses in return this was a heavy blow for the defenders. Despite this the defenders continued the fight and another major battle took place on 110.09.30, with the Northern Coalition pulling in allies from across the cluster to aid in the fight. Daisho Syndicate, KIA Alliance and Tau Ceti Federation were major powers adding their forces to the defending coalition's already considerable battlefleet. The battle that followed must objectively be regarded as a disaster for the defending forces. While inflicting merely 50 losses on the attacking forces, the defending coalition took losses of over 600 ships and capsules, including 10 carriers, 9 dreadnoughts and a Majesta Empire register Aeon-class mothership. More significantly still, the attackers were able to destroy 9 Morsus Mihi starbases in the course of the day. This action, combined with the emplacement and defence of their own starbases, allowed the BOB/GBC forces to successfully contest sovereignty in M-OEE8 and the system was reduced to no overall control on 110.10.01. BOB subsequently took control of the system on 110.10.05.
