Attacks on Elitist Cowards assets by Sons of Tangra in November YC110 signalled that the former allies, each themselves being Pandemic Legion allies, were no longer in accord with one another. Sons of Tangra appear to have decided to 'purge' EC from Fountain and embarked on a campaign to that end. By 110.11.09, Elitist Cowards had lost sovereignty 3 systems such as B170-R, L-1SW8 and L-ASXP to SOT attacks.
However, two large battles in 7BX-6F on 110.11.09 and 110.11.13 seem to have proved largely inconclusive with both sides able to establish towers. The system became the centre of EC resistance and a war of attrition set in with the SOT forces, allegedly secretly backed by Pandemic Legion, slowly gaining the upper hand. On 110.11.24, the Sons of Tangra successfully contested sovereignty and it switched to them. Elitist Cowards were left with no holdings in Fountain shortly thereafter.
