The trigger for Morsus Mihi and RAZOR attacking an Evoke Alliance Aeon-class mothership is not clear to CONCORD analysts, nor the reason for its presence in the Venal region system of XMNF-7. Whatever the lead-up to its destruction may have been, the Aeon stood little chance against an estimated 30 MM/RAZOR capitals and 70 subcapital ships. Despite a fleet of approximately 100 friendly subcapitals attempting to save it, the greater weight of firepower the Northern Coalition forces had available in their capital fleet told in the end.
