| Sovereignty notes
| The Stain Empire alliance gained sovereignty in the key system of C9N-CC on 110.07.08, succeeding United Legion alliance as controllers of the conquerable station sited in that system. Standing astride an important route from a number of southern regions into the Stain region, the strategic importance of C9N-CC had long been recognised by capsuleer powers in the area. Though sovereignty was retained by the Stain Empire in the aftermath of this battle, assaults on the system would continue through July.

Having noted the acquisition of C9N-CC by Stain Empire a week earlier, it would appear that GoonSwarm and Tau Ceti Federation commanders determined to remove SE and impose a controlling entity more to their liking. Consequently, a major assault force struck at the system well before sovereignty level 3 could be achieved, thus obviating any possibility of cynosural jamming. Alerted to the impending attack, Stain Empire commanders called in their allies in C0VEN alliance and prepared to defend the system. 12 C0VEN/Stain Empire dreadnoughts were destroyed with the GS/TCF forces losing 23 dreadnoughts and 19 carriers. Total combined losses, including capitals and capsules, for each side were 58 for the defenders and 176 for the GS/TCF attackers.
