ACT YC110 August:Multiple Battleship Engagements and Sovereignty Losses in Deklein

The assault on YA0-XJ saw the Northern Coalition allies take massive losses of 279 combined ships and capsules destroyed, while only destroying 55 BOB/GBC ships in return. Of 139 battleships verified as destroyed, 116 losses are accounted to the NC allies. The space superiority achieved by the BOB/GBC forces allowed them to successfully contest sovereignty in this outpost system. The following engagement in VFK-IV went rather differently, with a large NC capital fleet able to draw on no less than four allied titans (Avatar, Ragnarok and two Erebus) and inflict very heavy damage on a BOB/GBC subcapital fleet aiming at disabling the cynosural jammer in that system. After being stymied in VFK-IV, BOB and allied forces assaulted 2R-CRW the next day, likely counting on the NC capital force being forced to remain in VFK-IV due to cynosural jamming. DED analysts estimate the NC forces outstripped the BOB/GBC conventional fleet by approximately two-to-one and inflicted heavy damage against the attackers, ultimately driving them from the field while taking relatively light losses in their turn. While rebuffed in VFK-IV and 2R-CRW, BOB forces were able to inflict sovereignty losses elsewhere and secured control of the YA0-XJ outpost and sovereignty over that system.
