| A sovereign IRON system from 110.05.25, sovereignty level 3 had been achieved by 110.06.23. Despite a lengthy and hard-fought defence against repeated assaults, IRON sovereignty was broken on 110.08.26, allowing the BOB capital armada unfettered access to the system. Consequently, BOB forces took control of the outpost and claimed sovereignty on 110.08.29.

Following a long struggle and hard fought defensive actions by the Northern Coalition, BOB forces were finally able to achieve space superiority over the defenders and successfully contest the level 3 sovereignty held by IRON. The battle of 110.08.22 was a crushing defeat for the NC forces, losing over 220 vessels for approximately 50 ships destroyed on the BOB/GBC side. This was despite the presence of two NC titans, an IRON Avatar-class and a RAZOR Erebus-class. These titans proved ineffectual, killing only 22 ships in total during the engagement. Sovereignty was broken within the week and BOB took control of the outpost seven days after the engagement.
