The 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I (or 1600RT for short), are the best plates to massively increase a ship's armor tank. They are widely used on Battlecruiser and Battleship classes, and at times found also in smaller, buffer tanked hulls.

Their fitting requirements and performance put them above the equivalent T1 and T2 versions:

• Their CPU requirement (28tf) is lower than both T1 (30tf) and T2 (33tf) ones.

• Their powergrid requirement (500MW) is lower than T2 (575MW), and the same as T1.

• The armor HPs added (4'200) are the same as T2 and vastly above T1's 3'000.

• The skill requirement (Hull Upgrades III) is the same as T1, and lower as T2 (Hull Upgrades V).

• Most important, the weight added to the ship (2'750 tons) is much lower than both T1 and T2 values (3'750 tons). Thus impacting far less on the ship agility and maneuverability.

The drawbacks are very high market cost compared to other 1600mm plates, and impossibility to manufacture the item: being meta4, it's found only in NPC dropped loot.
